This water buffalo leather lounge chair deliberately dispenses with decorative stitching. Instead, a generous smooth leather surface forms the centre of the design. This gives the model a calmer appearance and allows the natural material to display its own structure.

With a smooth surface in particular, the quality and treatment of the leather determine the chair's effect. We dye the water buffalo leather by hand rather than creating an industrially uniform colour. Depending on the hide, different intensities and natural gradients develop.

The grain is especially easy to see across the unstitched surfaces. Small scars or slight irregularities may also remain visible. They are part of the natural history of the hide and make it clear that the surface has not been artificially manufactured.

Without armrests, the lounge chair remains open in form and versatile in use. Its reduced design works with rustic solid wood as well as modern architecture and clean interior concepts. At the same time, the characterful leather ensures that the chair never feels generic despite its simplicity.

Every piece is made for its future owner. Production in our own facility in Germany begins only after the order has been received. The high proportion of handcrafting also allows us to respond to special customer requests by prior arrangement.
