The expressive leather surface takes centre stage in the Sabina water buffalo leather chair. Characteristic stitching structures the backrest and seat without overpowering the natural effect of the material. With no armrests, the silhouette remains slim and uncomplicated.
The chair's special character does not come from an artificially perfected surface. We dye the water buffalo leather by hand, creating different depths of colour. Depending on the individual hide, the dye is absorbed slightly differently, giving every chair its own nuances.
The grain of the leather, along with smaller scars and irregularities, may remain visible. We consider these features part of a natural leather product. They add depth to the surface and distinguish an individually made leather chair from an industrially uniform covering.
This combination gives Sabina a particularly characterful appearance and works beautifully with solid wood and other natural surfaces. At the same time, the armless design allows several chairs to be positioned closely together at the dining table.
From processing the leather to completing the furniture, we rely on craftsmanship. The water buffalo leather chair is produced in our own facility in Germany only after the order is placed. Individual customer ideas can also be considered by prior arrangement.
