While the stitching is deliberately regular, the leather is free to display its natural variety. Every water buffalo hide is dyed by hand. Depending on its structure, different depths of colour and transitions develop, giving the geometric design a lively surface.
The natural material also carries features that cannot be repeated. A small scar, a stronger grain or a slightly different shade can distinguish one chair from the next. These characteristics are not artificially removed; they are part of the intended character of our leather products.
Thanks to the armless design, several cantilever chairs can be arranged efficiently around one table. The square pattern works especially well with wood and industrial or vintage interiors, while also providing a distinctive accent in a modern dining space.
Every water buffalo leather cantilever chair is individually made for its order. Production takes place in our own facility in Germany and involves a high proportion of handcrafting. By prior arrangement, we can also accommodate special customer requirements during manufacturing.
